Ninh Kieu Quay:

Ninh Kieu quay, a famous place of Can tho in the past, located on the bank of Can Tho river, now has become a 7000m2 park which serves multi-funtional purposes of locals and visitors. The statue of Uncle Ho, made from bronze, 7.2 m in height, 13 tons in weight, is put in the middle of the park with a holly meaning, so this is the place locals celebrate meetings to memorize him. By mid-december of lunar calendar annually, a special flower market has been organized at Ninh Kieu quay. Besides, Ninh Kieu quay also includes many other constructions such as Can Tho ancient market, Can Tho floating restaurant (yacht)…Place: on the right side of Hau River, Hai Ba Trung Str., Tan An ward, Ninh Kieu district, Can Tho city. Visit time: 5 am – 10 pm everyday.
Cai Rang Floating Market:
It is said that “not being in Cai Rang floating market means not knowing the land of Tay Do – an old name of Can Tho”. Cai Rang floating market, one of the famous floating markets of the Southwest, specializes in selling fruits and agricultural products of the whole region. Every early morning, hundred boats gather together where their owners start to sell agri – products. To be recognized easily, they hang out product samples on a long bamboo (called Cay Beo) in front of the boats, so that they do not need to cry their wares as in mainland market. Besides of agri – products, this market has most services of a normal market such as food, grocery sales, repairing service, fuel station… Place: on Can Tho river, 5km from city center, near Cai Rang bridge, Le Binh ward, Cai Rang district.
Bang Lang Stork Sanctuary:
As one of the famous stork sanctuaries in Mekong Delta, Bang Lang stork sanctuary has attracted thousands of stork and other kinds of birds to make nets and live here. This is a right destination for tourists to observe and explore the natural life of birds and storks in a very green, romantic space of the bamboo forest. Sunrise and sunset are time storks going to find food and coming back their nets, so you can enjoy beautiful views in those moments. Place: Bang Lang stork Sanctuary, Thoi Thuan ward, Thot Not District.
Ong Pagoda:
Located in a beautiful site of Ninh Kieu quay, facing the Can Tho river, Ong Pagoda is one of the most important religious sites of Chinese community in Can Tho.It is built in the late 19th century to worship Kuang Kung, a deity symbolising loyalty, justice, reason, intelligence, honour and courage among other merits.

This food is famous in Can Tho for a long time and are enjoyed by locals and tourists. It is processed meticulously and requires a specific secret, so no many eateries in Can Tho can serve this dish. Duck cooked with soya cheese:
Duck cooked with soya cheese is a typical dish of people in the South, especially in Can Tho. Although this dish is not a great delicacy, it is still widely enjoyable. Vietnammese Pancake:
Banh Xeo is the rice pancake folded in half and filled with shrimp, meat and bean sprouts, mung bean… The cakes were served with vegetables and prepared nuoc mam (fish sauce) mixed with lemon, garlic and chili. The best time to eat Banh Xeo is when they are hot, straight from the pan, while the heat is still evaporating the yellow of the pancakes. The specific characteristic of Banh Xeo is that it is eaten with your hand.
